The Colts lost a close game to the New Orleans Saints in week 7 however the game was decided long before the 4th quarter.

The Saints dominated every aspect of the ball shutting out the Colts in the first half. The Colts scored 21 points in the second half but it was not nearly enough to bring them ahead. The Saints are one of the worst teams in the league but to lose in such a dominating fashion at home has got to be embarrassing for Colts players and coaches.

Jim Irsay reportedly had a very heated discussion with general manager Ryan Grigson about the state of the Colts. Grigson spent a lot of money bringing in Andre Johnson, Frank Gore, Trent Cole and Todd Herremans so it is a bit disappointing that the Colts have gotten off to such a lousy start. The Colts offensive line has effected Andrew Luck in a couple of unforeseen ways, the most prominent being that he does not trust his line to keep him safe in the pocket forcing him to make quicker decisions and throw balls a lot earlier than he would like.

While Andre Johnson had a great revenge game against the Texans that will probably be the most active he will be all season long. The Colts are currently first in the terrible AFC South where every team is under .500. Irsay is likely to make some drastic changes if the Colts lose first place to the surging Jacksonville Jaguars.
