The Chicago Bears suffered a tough loss against the Lions on Sunday, but the team got back Alshon Jeffery from injury and he comes in as the top fantasy starter for the team along with Matt Forte. Martellus Bennett came into Week 6 banged up, but he was able to play and looks healthy for Week 8 for quarterback Jay Cutler heading into the bye in Week 7.

Jeffery came back from a hamstring injury in Week 6 and he picked up right where he left off before the injury, dominating despite tough coverage. Jeffery had eight catches for 147 yards and one touchdown and he made some key plays down the stretch as the Bears tried to keep things close with the Lions. The Bears sent the game into overtime with a kick from Robbie Gould and that came after some key plays by Jeffery to help drive the offense down the field.

The Bears lost in overtime after a touchdown to Calvin Johnson, but getting back Jeffery was a welcome sight and he now has some extra recovery time, as the Bears are on a bye this week. Jeffery now has 13 catches for 225 yards in two games and he will be looking to continue trending in that direction when the Bears play the Vikings coming out of the bye. Bennett dealt with a quad injury into Week 6, but he was able to play and should be fine coming out of the bye.

Matt Forte has been having a very productive season for the Bears and there is a chance that the team could trade the running back this season. According to Jason La Canfora at CBS Sports, the Bears are "willing" to trade Forte this year if they continue to struggle into the deadline, but the team has a high price tag for the running back. Forte has all the makings of a trade target, as he is in the final year of his contract, is nearing 30-years-old and is playing for a team with a losing record.

The Bears are not pushing for a trade right now, but the team could consider making a move if they get an offer with a high draft pick, according to La Canfora. The pick likely would have to be a second or third round pick. Jeffery is also heading towards free agency, but it's very likely that the Bears are looking to sign him to a contract extension.

The Bears have also added back safety Demontre Hurst to the practice squad, according to SB Nation. The team previously waived Hurst and now that he has cleared the team has signed him back to the practice squad. Hurst has experience over the past two seasons with 18 games played and two starts and he is a solid depth option if the team deals with injuries. The secondary has not played that great this season and he previously signed with the Bears to the practice squad as an undrafted rookie.
