Blake Bortles #5 hands off to T.J. Yeldon #24 of the Jacksonville Jaguars during a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on October 11, 2015 in Tampa, Florida."

The Jacksonville Jaguars were without TJ Yeldon last week with an injury and if he misses time in Week 7, Denard Robinson and Toby Gerhart are fantasy football start options at running back. The Jags have struggled overall, but Blake Bortles has put up solid numbers and players like Allen Hurns, Julius Thomas and Allen Robinson have been quality fantasy players this year.

Yeldon came into the season as a potential starter and he has delivered on that for the Jaguars, but he was out last week with a groin injury and could miss time moving forward. According to ESPN.com, Adam Schefter reported that Yeldon would be out for the Texans game with a groin issue and that left Robinson and Gerhart as the main backs. Yeldon said during the week that there was a "strong possibility" that he would play and while that didn't happen, it could mean that Yeldon may recover in time to play in Week 7.

Fantasy owners without any better options should look at Robinson or Gerhart as a handcuff, as those players will get the bulk of the carries until Yeldon can return. This season Yeldon has 291 yards in five games with one touchdown and he has also been solid out of the backfield with 15 catches for 73 yards and one score. Robinson is a more explosive option than Gerhart, but Gerhart ended up getting more carries on Sunday and that could play out again next week if Yeldon is out.

Robinson had a breakout season last year with over 650 total yards on offense in 13 games, but this season he has been limited to three games. Robinson has 13 carries for 47 yards and five catches for 45 yards and on Sunday he had 10 overall touches. Robison finished with seven carries for 19 yards and added three catches for 19 yards with Gerhart getting the start and playing more snaps overall.

Neither player is going to set the world on fire, but with a matchup against the Browns coming, there is a chance one of either Robinson or Gerhart could break out. Gerhart started for the Jags and had nine carries for 26 yards and he also added three catches in the game. Gerhart has 36 yards rushing in four games this season and he comes in after rushing for 326 yards in 14 games last year for the Jaguars.

Blake Bortles has been putting up some solid offensive numbers and while the Jags aren't winning, the passing game is giving fantasy owners some options. Bortles is a low end QB and he has surpassed his numbers from last season with 13 touchdowns after tossing 11 in 2014 and now he has Julius Thomas back. Thomas scored his first TD with the Jaguars and he is a solid tight end pick moving forward for the rest of the season. Hurns and Robinson have been solid, but Hurns is the better option for now with Robinson dealing with a leg injury.
