The Washington Redskins could be without DeSean Jackson and Jordan Reed in Week 6 after Jackson felt a pain in his hamstring after returning to practice. Kirk Cousins has Alfred Morris, Pierre Garcon and Matt Jones as the best fantasy football start options for owners and this comes as the Redskins are not likely making an RG3 trade this season.

Jackson has been out for the Redskins since injuring his hamstring in Week 1 of the season and earlier this week it appeared that Jackson would be ready to return. Jackson was able to come back to practice and participate in some team drills and it looked like he was lining up to play against the Jets in Week 6. According to Pro Football Talk, Liz Clarke of the Washington Post reports that Jackson was pulled from practice on Thursday, as he felt a "twinge" in his injured hamstring.

While Jackson could still be on track to play against the Jets in Week 6, right now his status is up in the air for Jay Gruden. The head coach reportedly said that he was "hopeful" that Jackson will play on Sunday, but for fantasy owners that is not much to go on. The Redskins likely will update the situation soon and if Jackson is out again, fantasy owners should look at starting Garcon or picking up Jamison Crowder for this week against the Jets.

Clarke reports that Jackson injured the hamstring again while going for a deep pass in practice, which is how he was originally injured in Week 1. Jackson has not registered a catch this season and the Redskins are hoping that he can suit up in Week 6. The offensive line is also dealing with some injuries for Kirk Cousins and both Trent Williams and Kory Lichtensteiger could miss the game on Sunday. Both players have not been able to practice late in the week and that is not a good sign for them playing against the Jets.

Jordan Reed is dealing with a concussion and the tight end likely will miss a second straight game with the injury. According to CSN Washington, it's unlikely that Reed will play in Week 6 and that is a big loss for the Redskins, as Reed has been playing well when healthy this season. Last year Reed set a career high in receptions and this season he was on track to surpass that total before getting injured. Reed has 24 catches this season in four games.

Gruden and the offense likely will focus on Alfred Morris and Pierre Garcon as well as Matt Jones against the Jets, who have one of the best defenses in the league. The Redskins have committed to Cousins this season and while it seems like Robert Griffin could be on his way out of Washington, the Washington Post reports that the team is not looking to trade RG3 at this point. The Redskins have Cousins starting in Week 6 and he comes in with five touchdowns and six interceptions this season.
