Khalil Mack (52) and Justin Tuck (91) are two of the few solid pieces the Raiders have on defense."

The Oakland Raiders will be without Justin Tuck for the rest of the season, as the defensive end suffered an injury and was placed on IR, which likely makes Mario Edwards a starter. Coming out of the bye week the offense has Latavius Murray, Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree as the best starter options for Derek Carr.

Tuck was injured last week against the Denver Broncos and Jack Del Rio said to reporters after the game that the MRI results on Tuck's chest were "not good." According to CSN Bay Area, the chest injury Tuck suffered was serious and now he is being placed in season ending injured reserve with a pectoral injury. Tuck started all five games for the Raiders this season and recorded one sack with 14 total tackles and now he will be done for the year.

PFT reports that Mario Edwards likely will slot into the starting spot for Tuck and that gives the rookie a chance to make an impact for the defense. Tuck left the Giants and signed a two-year, $11 million deal with the Raiders and after this season he will be a free agent again. Last season Tuck played in 15 games for the Raiders and had five sacks with 43 total tackles. Edwards comes in as a rookie with eight total tackles in five games and now he will have to step in with Tuck out for the year.

The Raiders offense has been solid for fantasy owners this season and Latavius Murray had put up good numbers as the starter. Murray is coming into the bye with an injury, as the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Murray is dealing with a shoulder injury. Murray said that the shoulder has been an issue and that he is to blame for the rushing game and its struggles over the past couple games. Murray is looking to bounce back and he has a chance to do that against the Chargers next game. Murray has 336 yards rushing this season and two touchdowns.

Cooper has been off to a strong start as a rookie and he has the makings of a star player for the Raiders moving forward. Cooper has 28 catches in five games for 386 yards and two touchdowns and he comes in after making four catches for 47 yards in the loss to the Broncos. Cooper had back to back 100 yard games in Week 2 and Week 3 and he will be looking to bounce back against the Chargers with another strong performance. Cooper has been the best target for Derek Carr this season.
