The Kansas City Chiefs have had a rough start to the season. The Chiefs have not only lost Jamaal Charles for the season but have gone 1-4 in the process.

This is not a great start especially in a division where the Broncos are 5-0. This means that the Chiefs will have to get to work winning the majority of their games without their primary playmaker. But all is not lost Chiefs fans this is a time of exploration I mean if Chris Johnson could revitalize the Cardinals running attack, anything is possible.

The Chiefs currently have two running backs on their roster, Knile Davis, and Charcandrick West. West is the newest of the two backs and has some level of excitement surrounding him after joining the team in 2014. West has been the primary backup this season as he is more of a north south runner than Davis. Head coach Andy Reid made it clear that they need both backs but he favors West to carry the load. West ran a 4.27 40 yard dash on his pro day in 2014 which is all you really need to know about the young running back.

His speed along with his small frame should make him elusive enough to put up some yards on opposing defenses. West by all accounts should get the Jamaal Charles workload, it is up to him to live up to it.
