The Green Bay Packers are continuing to play without Davante Adams and into Week 6, players like James Jones, Ty Montgomery and Randall Cobb are start options if he remains out for Aaron Rodgers. Richard Rodgers is a sleeper option for owners with Andrew Quarless out and it comes as the Packers are set to play the Chargers next Sunday.

Adams is dealing with an ankle injury and after being out Week 5, there is a chance he could return for Week 6. According to ESPN.com, Adams will try and work the ankle this week in practice and depending on how it feels he could be back in the lineup for the Packers. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on the practice reports to see if Adams can participate and even if he does come back this week, using Jones or Montgomery might be a better option until Adams can prove he can stay healthy.

Adams had to leave the last game that he played and with wideouts ankle injuries can be lingering, meaning Adams could be limited even if he does play in Week 6. The Packers are undefeated, so they have not missed Adams too much, but Aaron Rodgers would love to have another option at WR for this week. Adams was expected to step up with Jordy Nelson out for the season, but he has been banged up and has not had the chance to get things going.

Many fantasy owners looked at Adams as a sleeper pick even before Nelson was injured and so far he has not been able to cash in on that promise. This season Adams has just nine catches for 92 yards in three games and it comes after he had a solid rookie season with 38 catches for 446 yards and three touchdowns. Adams had over 20 touchdowns his senior season in college and the Packers are hoping that he can be an explosive deep threat alongside Cobb.

Jones has stepped up with Adams injured and he is the best option behind Cobb, as Rodgers loves to find Jones in the endzone. This season Jones has 19 catches for 394 yards and five touchdowns and he has scored at least one touchdown in every game but one this season. Jones had just two catches last week, but one of those went for a TD and fantasy owners should ride his hot hand until it cools off.

Montgomery is an option in deeper leagues for now and he comes in after making four catches for 59 yards and a TD last week. Montgomery adds some value as a return man and he could be a replacement until Adams can return. Rodgers is a solid pickup with Andrew Quarless on IR and he comes in after a solid game with six catches for 45 yards on Sunday. Rodgers has 19 catches this season and two touchdowns and he had a solid eight targets on Sunday.
