Minnesota Vikings

Adrian Peterson (Running Back): AP had another solid outing finishing the day with 16 carries, 81 yards and a touchdown. He also caught 4 targets for 13 yards. AP has always had a nose for the end zone so it is a relief that owners are seeing him get into it more and more as the season goes along.

Mike Wallace/Stephon Diggs (Wide Receiver): Wallace had his first breakout game of the season catching 8 of 10 targets from the field. Wallace gained 83 yards and got into the end zone for a touchdown. This type of production is not typical of what you would see from him every week. Diggs also had a great game making his first appearance for meaningful stats. Diggs netted 87 yards and caught 6 out of 10 targets.

Denver Broncos

Peyton Manning (Quarterback): Peyton had an off day but that was expected as that is what this Minnesota team has kind of been known to do to quarterbacks this year. Manning went 17 of 27 from the field for 213 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Manning should get back on track in week 5 VS the Raiders.

Demaryius Thomas/Emmanuel Sanders (Wide Receiver): Demaryius had a very solid game against this Minnesota defense racking up 93 yards and caught 9 out of 12 balls. Thomas should be targeted more as this offense kicks things into high gear. Sanders had a pretty average day hauling in 3 out of 6 targets for 68 yards.

C.J. Anderson/Ronnie Hillman (Running Back): Anderson had another underwhelming game facing a stiff Vikings defense however his counterpart in the running game may have finally caught up to him. Anderson finished the day with 11 carries for 43 yards and 1 reception for 27 yards. It was Ronnie Hillman who dominated the day on the ground rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. To be fair Hillman gained 72 of those yards and that touchdown on one play, so in actuality he was on pace to have 31 yards prior to that big play. Hillman has caught up with Anderson and is now splitting carries with him; Anderson has one more game to prove that he should remain the dominant running back in this Broncos offense.
