Kansas City Chiefs
Jamaal Charles (Running Back): Charles had a subpar day rushing however ended up in the end zone 3 times and was the Chiefs main weapon throughout the entire game. Charles should always find his way into the end zone because there are not a lot of players on that team besides Travis Kelce who is targeted as heavily as he is in the red zone. Charles is facing an above average Bengals defense but Charles should be able to have a productive day regardless.
Jeremy Maclin (Wide Receiver): Maclin had his breakout game for the Chiefs last week and was more targeted than Travis Kelce. Alex Smith and Maclin have found some chemistry early in the season and that should continue against the Bengals. Maclin will not have the same production but he should still put up double digit fantasy points.
Travis Kelce (Tight End): Kelce is Alex Smith's favorite target and also probably the biggest matchup problem this offense can utilize on defenses in the NFL. Kelce should be targeted heavily once again and can find his way into the end zone against the Bengals.
Cincinnati Bengals
Giovani Bernard/Jeremy Hill (Running Backs): Gio continued to out touch Jeremy Hill in week 3 and if the Bengals find themselves down thanks to Jamaal Charles and Travis Kelce then Gio will have the bigger game. Gio is a better pass blocker and has great hands; he is a third down target for Andy Dalton. Gio has also been able to do something we have not seen from Hill, he can make a play. Hill has looked stagnant and has been pushed around by opposing defensive lines. The only safe person to play here is Gio because at least he will not disappoint you against a stout Kansas City defense.
AJ Green (Wide Receiver): Green was an absolute terror last week as he destroyed the Baltimore Ravens secondary. This game should be a lot more ground oriented than the contest against the Ravens. The only thing that worked for the Ravens was throwing the ball to Steve Smith so the Bengals had the perfect response, throw it deep to AJ Green. Now they are facing an offense with two capable running backs who will likely try to control the line of scrimmage and build up their time of possession. The Bengals should try to run the ball as best as they can, but Green will still be a productive piece of this offense.
Andy Dalton (Quarterback): Can Andy Dalton keep this run going? Dalton for the most part has been extremely sporadic in how well he plays now he has seemed to settle down early this season. Dalton should remain relatively consistent however the Chiefs are getting back star cornerback Sean Smith so this secondary should be a lot better than it was a week ago. Dalton is a low tier QB1.
