San Diego Chargers

Keenan Allen/Stevie Johnson/ Malcom Floyd (Wide Receivers): This Chargers receiving core is desperate for consistency as all 3 wide receivers make an impact from time to time. Keenan Allen has been the main target as he caught 12 of 18 targets for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns in week 3's matchup with the Vikings. Allen was the only wide receiver to benefit from the Vikings defense as; Stevie Johnson and Malcom Floyd were held to small totals. Johnson had 46 yards on 3 catches out of 4 targets; he also had a red zone target however the ball bounced off his hands into those of a defender for an interception. Floyd had 61 yards on 4 catches out of 8 targets.

Melvin Gordon/Danny Woodhead (Running Backs): After a big week 2 Gordon finished his day with only 58 yards on 15 carries. This was just because the Chargers seemingly favored the pass game over the run as the Minnesota defense makes it tough sledding for any rusher to have a great day. Woodhead finished the game catching 3 out of 4 targets for 32 yards and only had 4 carries for 4 yards.

Phillip Rivers (Quarterback): Rivers had an average day against a quietly dangerous Minnesota Vikings defense. Rivers completed 21 out of 34 passing attempts and had 246 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Rivers will have better games but is a matchup based QB2.

Minnesota Vikings

Adrian Peterson (Running Back): Peterson finally blew the doors off the fantasy football world, entering the end zone for the first time this season. Peterson had a great day on the ground finishing the day with 20 carries for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns. Peterson is back and clearly feels like his old self again.

Teddy Bridgewater (Quarterback): Bridgewater had an off day likely caused by Peterson's dominance. Bridgewater completed 13 of 24 passes for 121 yards and an interception. Bridgewater struggled through the air looking shaky as his accuracy sputtered.

Charles Johnson/Mike Wallace (Wide Receivers): Johnson and Wallace suffered as Bridgewater struggled to gain any yards in the air. Johnson finished with only 1 catch for 9 yards after exiting the game with a rib injury. He later returned but Bridgewater never looked his way again. Wallace caught 3 out of 4 of his targets for 49 yards.

Kyle Rudolph (Tight End): Rudolph has been crushing the fantasy world, but in week 3 he finally hit his wall. Rudolph finished with 2 catches out of 5 targets and only gained 14 yards.
