The Philadelphia Eagles have DeMarco Murray dealing with a hamstring injury and he is expected to play Week 3 after suffering the injury in practice. Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles are solid fantasy football start options if Murray is limited at all and losing him would have been a big hit as Sam Bradford tries to rebound against the 2-0 New York Jets. Update: Murray out.

Murray has been struggling quite a bit to start the season, as he put up just 11 yards in two games for the Eagles. The team has started the season 0-2 and now Murray could be limited for a bit moving forward with his hamstring injury. According to CSN Philly, Murray had to leave practice on Wednesday with a hamstring issue and underwent MRI testing. Murray has put up less than a yard per carry through two games this season and it comes after he averaged over four last year. Murray reportedly is on track to play in Week 3 and fantasy owners are hoping he can bounce back.

Murray was the league leader in rushing for the Cowboys last season and the team opted to let him walk in free agency. Murray had 392 carries and nearly 500 touches for the Cowboys last season, leading the league with 1845 rushing yards for the team. The Eagles have put up just 35 rushing yards per game in the first two games of the season and Murray has been unable to get anything going. If Murray is out, the Eagles have some depth at RB, but they really need him to find his footing after spending big on him this offseason.

Bradford has been up and down to start the season as well and the media asked Chip Kelly in his weekly press conference about the play of the quarterback. Kelly defended Bradford and when he was asked about the possibility of Mark Sanchez starting, Kelly said that he did not consider making that move.

Jordan Matthews and Nelson Agholor remain the best fantasy starters at WR for the Eagles this season. Matthews comes in after a solid start in two games, putting up 16 catches for 182 yards and one touchdown. Matthews had six catches for 80 yards and his first score of the season in the loss against the Cowboys. Agholor has been slow to start, but he remains a good sleeper option moving forward despite putting up just four catches for 36 yards in two games.
