The San Diego Chargers and fantasy football owners could be without Ladarius Green in Week 3 after the tight end suffered his second concussion of the season. The team is 1-1 and they are hoping Green can play Sunday and this comes as players like Danny Woodhead, Melvin Gordon, Stevie Johnson and Keenan Allen should be solid starters and sleeper options in fantasy for Philip Rivers.

The Chargers are 1-1 on the season and they come into Week 3 after suffering a loss against the Cincinnati Bengals. Rivers will try and bring the Chargers back against the Vikings and this came will be the second straight on the road for the team after opening up against the Lions with a victory. According to ESPN.com, Eric D. Williams reports that Green was limited in practice this week and he is being treated for "concussion like symptoms" heading into the weekend.

The Chargers had Green in practice on Thursday and he was able to participate, according to the Union-Tribune San Diego. Michael Gehlken reports that Green is listed as questionable for the game on Sunday against the Vikings and if he doesn't play, the team could use Kyle Miller, who is reportedly coming back to the Chargers. The Union-Tribune reports that the team is bringing in Miller after he was previously with the Chargers in camp.

Antonio Gates remains out while suspended, so if Green can't go, the Chargers likely will use Miller and John Phillips until he is fully healthy. Green has been able to play in the first two games for the Chargers despite suffering a concussion leading into the first week against the Lions. Green has put up 10 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown in two games this season and the Chargers are expecting him to have a breakout year. Green has breakout potential, but over the past two years he has been a bit of a disappointment, catching less than 40 balls in that time.

Melvin Gordon and Danny Woodhead give the Chargers a solid one-two punch in the running game and last week Woodhead did a great job for PPR owners in fantasy. Woodhead had six catches for 68 yards and this season he has 10 catches for 88 yards. Woodhead is the pass catching specialist on the team and he has also been involved in the running game, going for 78 yards through two games so far. Gordon has been off to a good start as a rookie, putting up 139 yards on 30 carries in two games. Both players are worth starting this week.

Stevie Johnson on has been sold through two games and he could be worth a look for fantasy owners in need of a wideout. Johnson has 11 catches for 127 yards and two touchdowns this season and he is a solid pickup in deeper leagues. Keenan Allen is still the number one and he comes in with 17 catches for 182 yards in two games, but the bulk of that came in Week 1. Rivers will have the chance to put up some numbers this weekend.
