The St. Louis Rams may have Todd Gurley ready for Week 3 and fantasy football owners should start the running back as he tries to make his debut for 2015. Tre Mason is a solid fantasy option to start, while Jared Cook, Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin are sleeper options for Nick Foles on Sunday against the Steelers.

The Rams have been looking for Gurley to get on the field this season, as the rushing attack has not been consistent through two weeks. Gurley was a first round pick and he missed the first two weeks of the season while working to come back from a knee injury during his last season at Georgia. According to Pro Football Talk, Gurley was not on the injury report for this week and that is a good sign that he could make his debut for the team against the Steelers.

Tre Mason dealt with a hamstring issue earlier in the season and he has returned, but he did not do much last week and could get another chance to start even if Gurley plays. Head coach Jeff Fisher said that Gurley is "getting closer" and while he did not confirm that Gurley will play, not being on the injury report is a major step. Gurley has been practicing with the team over the last couple weeks even while he has not been active for the games on Sunday. Gurley said to reporters after practice that he is feeling "a lot better" and that he is "getting the reps" that he needs in practice.

Gurley has the chance to be a great NFL player based on his talent, but many teams were worried about his knee injury. Gurley suffered a torn ACL while playing for Georgia in November and now he appears ready to finally get into some game action. Some draft scouts saw Gurley as a top five pick, but he slipped due to the injury and now the Rams are hoping he can make a major impact for the team. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Gurley said he is "ready" to play on Sunday and if he is active, Mason, Gurley and Benny Cunningham could split some carries.

Mason missed the first game of the season and he comes in with seven rushes for 26 yards last week and he also added two catches for four yards. Mason may need some time to get his rhythm back and he is a good fantasy handcuff option along with Gurley as the RB situation starts to get settled. Cunningham has shown a bit for the team, but Gurley and Mason are the top two backs and if they are healthy, they will get the bulk of the carries.

The Rams have some solid fantasy options with Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt and Jared Cook for Nick Foles and those players could be the main targets for the team in the passing game. Brian Quick has also been a solid option and Britt comes in after scoring a TD last week against the Redskins. Cook had five catches on seven targets for 47 yards in the game and he is a solid option this week, as he has 10 catches for 132 yards in two games this season.
