There were some major injuries in fantasy football this week, as players like Tony Romo, Eddie Lacy, Tevin Coleman, Alshon Jeffery, Carlos Hyde, Jay Cutler and Lamar Miller all suffered injuries and some of those players could miss time into Week 3. TY Hilton comes into Monday night football after dealing with a knee injury and he will be a game time decision for the Colts.

Tony Romo is the most high profile player to suffer an injury and he is expected to be out for a decent stretch with a broken collarbone. According to ESPN.com, Romo is being placed on the IR with designation to return after suffering the injury against the Eagles on Sunday. The Cowboys are already down Dez Bryant and now Romo will be out until around Thanksgiving, which is when he can come off the list. The Cowboys likely will use Brandon Weeden as their starter and there is chance they could sign someone as a free agent for depth.

Jay Cutler is another big name that went down on Sunday, as the quarterback suffered a hamstring injury against the Cardinals. According to CSN Chicago, Cutler was injured while trying to make a tackle on an interception against the Cardinals and that could leave Jimmy Clausen as the starter. Cutler did not return to the game on Sunday after leaving and while he may not be out for a long stretch, Week 3 is not looking likely for the QB. The Bears likely will stick with Clausen unless the injury to Cutler ends up being more serious than anticipated.

The Bears are also dealing with an injury to their top WR like the Cowboys, as Alshon Jeffery did not play on Sunday against the Cardinals. Jeffery is dealing with a hamstring issue and a calf injury and according to ESPN Chicago, it is not clear yet if he will be able to start in Week 3. Jeffery will have time in practice to see how his injuries are doing and the injury report leading into next week will be very telling about whether her has a chance to play or not.

Tevin Coleman is coming out of Week 2 with a rib injury suffered against the Giants and that could make Devonta Freeman the starter next week if he can't go. Coleman has been solid to start the season with 112 yards in two games and if his rib injury is serious, the Falcons could consider adding a free agent to the mix. Coleman is a rookie and he has been getting the bulk of the carries for the Falcons so far this season.

Eddie Lacy is dealing with an ankle injury suffered on Sunday night football, but the injury is not expected to be serious. Adam Schefter at ESPN reported that the x-ray on Lacy's ankle came back negative. James Starks came in for Lacy after the injury and he could be ready to go in Week 3. Carlos Hyde is dealing with a concussion and the 49ers took him out of the game against the Steelers as a precaution. Hilton is dealing with a knee issue and the Colts are "optimistic" that he can go in Week 3.
