Dallas Cowboys
Jason Witten (Tight End): Witten is Romo's go to guy when the Cowboys need a first down or a touchdown so he is very much a TE1 this week. Witten will see plenty of targets especially in the red zone.
Tony Romo (Quarterback): Romo is the perfectly valued quarterback who will put up 20 fantasy points on the Eagles with ease. Even with Bryant out Romo will find guys that get the Cowboys into the end zone.
Joseph Randle (Running Back): Randle is going to be the main running back for the Dallas Cowboys when it actually comes to running it. Eventually I will assume Christine Michael gets to spell him but not anytime soon so he should get 15-20 carries a game that type of production behind that offensive line is worth a start every week.
Lance Dunbar (Running Back): Dunbar will see probably half of Dez Bryant's targets in the passing game with the others being distributed evenly. Dunbar was unbelievable last week and led the team in catches and receiving yards in week 1. He is a strong flex option.
Terrance Williams/ Devin Street/ Cole Beasley (Wide Receivers): Williams should see a lot of looks down the field and will finish with the most targets for wide receivers. Street is a bit of an unknown, he has never seen this big of a workload before, if he can manage to put up some solid numbers this week he could make some waves. Beasley is the Cowboys slot guy, think Julian Edelman without the same exact chemistry. Beasley should be targeted more but he did have a fumble in week 1.
Philadelphia Eagles
DeMarco Murray (Running Back): Murray finished last week with 20 yards on the ground and 2 TDs. That is a little odd and if he only had one TD could be declared a draft bust. Murray is in an RBBC (Running Back By Committee) which means that he will get early down work however if there is a goal line, third down, or passing down situation he will likely be taken off the field and let's be honest the Falcons are not really known for their shut down rushing defense. This performance should be disheartening because even if Murray is motivated to give it his all he will not get the chance as frequently as let's say a Joseph Randle. Let's not forget the Cowboys defense has been looking to shut Murray down since he left in free agency.
Darren Sproles/Ryan Mathews (Running Back): Sproles at the end of the day might be the most reliable back in Philadelphia. He has managed to secure the passing down role and has his own plays for him in the offense. Sproles is being used like a weapon and is the only real X factor in the Eagle's offense. He is a solid flex option this week.
Sam Bradford (Quarterback): Bradford may have had an alright game last week but he get X rayed right after words so the thought of trusting him with a roster spot is ridiculous. If you want to gamble go get Marcus Mariota, he would be a safer play after all that's the guy Chip Kelly wanted all along.
Jordan Matthews (Wide Receiver): Matthews broke out to be the Eagles main wide receiver however he was also the target for that untimely game ending interception. Matthews will likely get the max coverage from the Cowboys and if they can control the clock that should bring his value down a bit. Matthews is a WR2 with a WR3 floor and a low WR1 ceiling.
