Peyton Manning (18) of the Denver Broncos makes a throw under pressure from Terrell Suggs (55) and Lawrence Guy (93) of the Baltimore Ravens in the first quarter. The Denver Broncos played the Baltimore Ravens at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, CO on September 13, 2015."

The Baltimore Ravens have lost Terrell Suggs to an Achilles injury and now the linebacker will reportedly be out for the rest of the 2015 season. The Ravens come in after a loss to the Broncos and players like Crockett Gillmore, Justin Forsett and Steve Smith are some of the best fantasy football options to use for Joe Flacco moving into Week 2.

The Ravens have been picked by some in the media to get back to the Super Bowl and now if they do that, it will have to be without Suggs. According to NFL.com, Suggs suffered a torn Achilles in the loss against the Broncos and he likely will be out for the season. The report says that Suggs did not tear the same Achilles that he suffered in 2012, but that this time it was the left leg. Suggs is 32 and now he will be out for the year for the Ravens.

The injury occurred in the fourth quarter of the loss against the Broncos and Suggs had to be carted off the field. The Ravens defense was strong against Denver on Sunday and Suggs was in the middle of things and now he will be out for the Ravens for the next 15 games as they try and get back to the playoffs. Suggs missed eight games in 2012, but apart from that he has not missed a game in four of the last five seasons. According to Pro Football Talk, the Ravens have signed Jason Babin to help with the injury to Suggs.

Joe Flacco is leading the Ravens offense once again and this year the fantasy football options for the team could be limited for owners. With Torrey Smith gone, Steve Smith and Marlon Brown along with rookie Breshad Perriman are solid options, but none of those players are WR1 material, at least not yet this season. Justin Forsett is likely the best option from the Ravens, as he is coming off of a 1000 yard season and is expected to get a lot of work ahead of Buck Allen.

Sleeper wise, Crockett Gillmore and Maxx Williams are two players to watch, as they are stepping in for Dennis Pitta, who is not healthy to start the season. Neither player put up big numbers in Week 1 of the season. But Flacco loves to use his tight ends and moving forward both players could get some action. Gillmore comes in after making two catches on four targets against the Broncos.

Suggs has been the ultimate playmaker for the Ravens over the last decade and he has put up strong numbers for the team over this last stretch. Suggs has had at least 10 sacks in four of the last five seasons and in the years when he was fully healthy over that stretch he has over 40 sacks total. Replacing that production will be hard and with Suggs getting up there in age, his future could be a bit in question in the NFL. Suggs made a strong recovery from his last Achilles injury and now he will be looking to do the same again.
