The NY Giants are hoping to get Jason Pierre-Paul back this season, but some within the organization think that JPP may not be able to play at all in 2015 after dealing with his hand and finger injuries. The Giants had a bad loss after allowing the Dallas Cowboys to come back for a win on Sunday night and now Eli Manning, Odell Beckham and Tom Coughlin are looking ahead to Week 2.

The Giants suffered a tough loss on Sunday night football against the Cowboys on the road and now the team is 0-1 on the season. The Cowboys were able to make a comeback after some bad clock management from the Giants and that put the team in a tough spot at the end. Eli Manning and head coach Tom Coughlin made some bad decisions and now the team will have to find a way to bounce back in Week 2 when they take on the Falcons.

The Giants had to play this game without Victor Cruz in the lineup and that made things tough on the other wide receivers. Odell Beckham did not have a dominating game like he did the last time these teams played and he will be looking to bounce back next week as well. Cruz has been dealing with a calf injury and the Giants are hoping that he can go next week. The Giants defense played well for most of the game, but at the end the team left too much time for Tony Romo and the Cowboys and they ended up scoring a late touchdown to win the game.

The Giants also have issues with Jason Pierre-Paul, as the defensive end missed Week 1 and may miss more time moving forward. JPP came back and took a physical with the team, but that did not result in a deal to get JPP back and now the sides may take more time before working something out. The Giants used the franchise tag on Pierre-Paul this offseason, but he has not yet signed his tender. The one-year deal would pay $14.8 million to JPP for this season and he missed out on $870,000 by missing Week 1.

JPP may not be close to returning for the Giants after suffering multiple injuries in a fireworks accident earlier in the summer and Dan Graziano of ESPN.com reports that some wonder if he will play at all in 2015. Graziano reports that "some in the organization fear" that Pierre-Paul could be out for the entire 2015 season, as he suffered a finger amputation as well as multiple fractures and skin grafts on his hand. The report says that "a portion of one Pierre-Paul's other fingers also is missing" and that could keep him out for a longer stretch.

Beckham and the Giants had chances to win on Sunday night, but the team could not get things done and they were not in a rhythm on offense for most of the game. Beckham had just five catches for 44 yards and he is hoping for a better performance in Week 2 after his stellar rookie season in 2014.
