Manchester United and Liverpool are playing live on the English Premier League schedule on Saturday and the match from Old Trafford starts at 12:30 pm ET and will be on NBC Sports and streaming from the NBC Live Extra website as Wayne Rooney and Man United get things going against the rival Reds in this high profile EPL matchup.
Manchester United comes into the match after winning over Swansea City and they also won in the Champions League playoff before that. Man United had a draw with Newcastle and they won over Aston Villa and Tottenham to start off the season. Coming up the team has the Champions League group stage and they also will play Southampton and Sunderland coming up next along with the Football League Cup match against Ipswich.
Liverpool started the season with a win against Stoke City and against Bournemouth before a draw with Arsenal that was away. That was a big point to get and the team continued with a 3-0 win against West Ham and coming up they have the UEFA Europa League Group stage against Bordeaux.
The team plays against Norwich City and Aston Villa next on the Premier League schedule and later on against Everton and Tottenham.
Man United comes into the match at fifth on the Premier League table and they have seven points along with Arsenal, who is in seventh. The teams are looking up at Swansea City, Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Man City, who has not lost yet and has not given up a goal. The teams are looking to get points in the late match and while both teams want the victory, they would be happy with points.
