The trash talk has already been flying between these two rivals and it is only week 1. The Bears under new management (John Fox) will look a bit different then were used to seeing them.

Fox will have revamped this passing attack especially after his stint with the Broncos and Peyton Manning. Let's not forget Fox took the Broncos to the Super Bowl so it is well beyond the realm of possibility that the Bears look a lot better and have a lot more consistency on offense.

The Packers however are looking to maintain their stranglehold on the division after losing their star wide receiver Jordy Nelson to a season ending injury. Everyone is waiting to see who steps up for Jordy and who Rodgers trusts the second most in that offense.

Playmakers to watch:

Aaron Rodgers: Rodgers will need to find some consistency with another receiver and this could bring out a new star in Green Bay. Rodgers should be able to pick apart this defense at will.

Jay Cutler: Will Jay Cutler be the same quarterback we have seen the last couple of seasons? Throwing a couple of picks in the game, getting sacked for a fumble near the goal line, or just generally being a bad quarterback. Now Cutler will look to become more consistent under John Fox, this game will tell a lot about how much this team has bought into the system.

Alshon Jeffery: Jeffery has been injured all preseason and is a small question mark for week 1. If Jeffery can't play that would really put the Bears behind the 8 ball and could seemingly end this game before it begins. Without Jeffery the Bears simply don't have the firepower to compete with Green Bay.

Davante Adams: Adams is the primary guy looking to take Nelson's spot and targets. Adams had same incredible games last season however failed to be consistent with Cobb and Nelson ahead of him. Now with Cobb banged up and Nelson out for the season Adams chances to shine could never be brighter.
