In one of the more interesting matchups of first week of the regular season, the Tennessee Titans will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as both top rookie quarterbacks will look to start their seasons off right. Winston has had the shakier preseason but seems to have more confidence and a better receiving core.

Mariota on the other hand did not throw a pick for an entire month during preseason and has a great sense of awareness for where his receivers are on the field. This may be their first meeting but it is possible we get a definitive answer to who is better Marcus Mariota or Jameis Winston.

Playmakers to look out for:

Mike Evans: Evans has been limited with a hamstring injury and will most likely be a game time decision, if the Buccaneers are being cautious with their young star then this is just a formality however his absence would greatly affect the Buccaneers passing game.

Terrance West: West was traded from the Browns to the Titans after the Titans lost their rookie David Cobb to IR. Now West has a new home and will look to make an impact early. If he can be a consistent rusher then he may have a starting role in the future.

Kendall Wright:  Wright has been Mariota's favorite target from training camp; if he continues to be then the Titans could post some solid stat lines. Wright looks like the best wide receiver on the Titans but the addition of Dorial Green-Beckham muddles his role somewhat. Can Wright continue to be the main target in Tennessee?
