American soccer star DeAndre Yedlin has finally settled his loan situation this summer, as the USMNT winger will be on loan with Sunderland from the Tottenham Spurs in the Premier League this season after getting a move completed this week.

Yedlin has emerged as one of the most notable players from the US following the World Cup last year and he moves to Sunderland in hopes of getting more playing time. According to Pro Soccer Talk and MLS.com, Yedlin is making the move to the Black Cats for the season and he will have the chance to play up with Billy Jones and Adam Matthews.

Sunderland is currently 20th on the Premier League table and they can use any help they can get from Yedlin. The team next plays Tottenham, so Yedlin won't be in that match, but he will have the chance to play against Bournemouth if he is ready when the team plays on September 19. Yedlin is currently up with the national team and he is preparing for friendly matches with Peru and against Brazil.

Jurgen Klinsmann is likely pleased with the move, as Yedlin was not getting much of a chance to play for the Spurs after the team added Kevin Trippier. Yedlin is just 23 and has established himself as one of the key players for the United States team. Yedlin only made two substitute appearances for Tottenham and he said he is excited to get things started. The move was completed on deadline day and now Yedlin has the chance to get some more playing time.

"I'm delighted to be given the opportunity to play for a club with such great history," Yedlin said in a club statement.
