Terrell Suggs thinks he will be ready to play in October, despite reports that say he will miss the entire 2012 season with a torn Achilles tendon."

The war of words between both the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens continues as John Harbaugh has come to the defense of Terrell Suggs.

Suggs was flagged for roughing the passer after he wrapped up Sam Bradford as the Eagles ran the read option. Bradford successfully handed off the ball however Suggs came a split second after and took Bradford down. The NFL ruled that Suggs hit was legal and that the Eagles and officials were the only people who were mistaken.

Bradford does go down awkwardly but that could be because he is not fully comfortable/ mobile enough to fall normally. Suggs walked away right after and Bradford got up right away...that should have been the end of the story. If Suggs wanted to hit Bradford harder he would have and he had a perfect shot at his knees but instead wrapped him up and took him down. John Harbaugh was appalled at the accusations thrown at Suggs, stating

"When you start popping off about somebody's character, you cross the line. That's not really something that we would respect. But most of their guys over there understood the play and understood he was playing hard and trying to get stops. He played it exactly the way we were coaching him to play it."

Harbaugh's words leave no doubt that he believes the hit was fine and these accusations are unjust and irresponsible. One thing is certain these two teams will not like each other after this incident comes to a close.
