The fantasy football season is nearly here and some sleeper NFL RBs to watch out for in the late round of drafts for owners includes players like Terrance West, Joseph Randle, Joique Bell, CJ Spiller, Ameer Abdullah, TJ Yeldon, CJ Anderson and Melvin Gordon, as some of those players have the chance to be breakout options this year.

The big names like Jamaal Charles, DeMarco Murray and Adrian Peterson should go fast in drafts this year and winning leagues could come down to late round picks. Joseph Randle is a player to watch, as he is expected to start for the Cowboys, while CJ Spiller could be a fantastic PPR option for fantasy owners with the Saints. Rookies like TJ Yeldon, Melvin Gordon, David Johnson, David Cobb and Matt Jones also have the chance to be nice surprises for their teams.

The Browns RB situation is one to monitor, as the team as Isaiah Crowell, Terrance West and rookie Duke Johnson as the three main options. West comes in after rushing for 673 yards as a rookie and he could be a late sleeper option this year behind Crowell. Crowell is expected to start, but both players got significant action last season and even with Johnson coming in, West could end up as a solid back for owners. West played in 14 games last season and he made 11 catches for 64 yards with four rushing TDs.

Latavius Murray and Randle are two starters to keep an eye on, as each are getting the chance to be the number one RB for their teams. Randle is going to be the starter in Dallas as long as he is healthy and it comes after Darren McFadden and Lance Dunbar have also dealt with injuries. Murray is getting his chance in Oakland after McFadden left and while Trent Richardson is also there for the Raiders, Murray is the player that should lead the team in carries.

The Broncos may run the ball more with Peyton Manning getting another year older and their stable of backs should be led by CJ Anderson. Last season Anderson stepped up for the Broncos with Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman dealing with injuries and he is coming in to be the starter this year. Gary Kubiak is going to be changing things up a bit and Anderson could be more involved in the offense this season.

The Lions offense should be potent and rookie Ameer Abdullah is expected to get some significant work alongside Joique Bell. Abdullah and Bell should be solid options for owners and could be sleepers, as Bell has been dealing with injuries and could slide in drafts. If Bell is healthy he is a great PPR option and Abdullah could end up outplaying Theo Riddick and getting more carries from Matthew Stafford on offense. Abdullah comes in with high expectations after a strong career at Nebraska.
