The recently cut Tony McDaniel has been drawing some looks from teams all over the league. McDaniel was released because of the recent mega signings that took place with the Seahawks. Both Bobby Wagner and Russell Wilson's contracts came at a poor time for the defensive tackle.

McDaniel was a Seahawk so his status now as a free agent is inflated but McDaniel did set the edge nicely against the run and was a solid run stopping defensive tackle.

McDaniel's been so effective that he has even earned a sack with his time with the Seahawks. The Cowboy's should look at him because to be honest why not? If the Seahawks did not resign Wagner in the same year as Wilson, McDaniel would still be a Seahawk. The current Cowboy's defensive tackle Nick Hayden is another good depth player but hardly a superstar.

McDaniel may also feel like he has more to prove being cut from the Seahawks so he may be more of an impactful player than one realizes. With all of the injuries that occur in the NFL every day depth is important and adding McDaniel would give the Cowboy's some serious depth at defensive tackle.
