The Detroit Tigers could be ready to trade David Price and Yoenis Cespedes at the MLB trading deadline, as ESPN reports that the team is planning on selling and now teams like the LA Dodgers, NY Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, NY Mets and San Francisco Giants could be interested in making deals and this comes as Cole Hamels, Mike Leake and Justin Upton are also available at the deadline.

The Tigers said last week that the team would wait and see how the wild race was shaping up before making deals at the deadline. According to Jayson Stark at ESPN.com, the Tigers are looking at "rebooting" and "will listen" to trade offers for Price, Cespedes and others. The Tigers have Price and Cespedes hitting the free agent market and with Price "unlikely" signing with the team, trades could be the end solution.

The Tigers added Price in a trade last season with the Rays and Mariners and they added Cespedes in a trade with the Red Sox. Price is going to get a huge deal on the free agent market and the Tigers could pull back and think about making a run, but with Miguel Cabrera out, the team sees that as pointless. The Tigers should get a decent haul for Price, as he is one of the best pitchers in the league and is still very young at just 29.

According to Hardball Talk, the Dodgers are one of the primary options for Price, but they may pull back after adding Mat Latos in a deal with the Marlins. Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports that the Yankees, Blue Jays and the Dodgers are the top teams in contention for Price and that they could have an "all-out bidding war of prospects" to get a deal done. This came around the time that the Dodgers traded for Latos, so they could be out of the mix.

The Yankees are looking to make a move for a pitcher and so far reports have Brian Cashman not looking to give up top prospects, especially for a rental. The team is not looking to deal Aaron Judge or Luis Severino, but the Yanks could consider giving up some other big names to get Price. The Blue Jays just went after Troy Tulowitzki and they could be going for it all and could trade for Price or Hamels. Hamels is going to continue getting attention and if Price is not traded, the package for Hamels could get bigger for the Phillies.
