The NY Knicks could look at a Jose Calderon trade this year if Jerian Grant plays well and the team is working to sign rookie Kristaps Porzingis and Grant, while Maurice Ndour, Alex Kirk and Ricky Ledo could be options for the roster looking good in the Summer League and this comes as Greg Stiemsma, Justin Hamilton and JaVale McGee are potential free agent additions.

The Knicks have been active this offseason in signing Robin Lopez, Derrick Williams and Arron Afflalo, but Ian Begley at ESPN New York reports that there are still moves to make. Begley writes that Phil Jackson said that the team would like to add another center to play behind Lopez and that could lead the team to players like Stiemsma, Hamilton or McGee after Kendrick Perkins signed with the Pelicans.

The Knicks could look at trading Calderon this year if Grant plays well, as that would open things up for the rookie to get more playing time. The team has depth at guard with Arron Afflalo and Langston Galloway and reports have Ricky Ledo as a potential option to get added from the Summer League. The Knicks previously shopped Calderon last year, as Ken Berger at CBS Sports reported that the team put Calderon on the trading block.

UPDATE: Maurice Ndour is signing with the Mavericks over the Knicks. "Ian Begley: Maurice Ndour has agreed to a deal with Dallas, per league sources. Sources say Mavs offered more guaranteed money than #Knicks."

The team was not able to find a deal for Calderon last season, but this year is coming into the last year of his deal and that could make him more attractive on an expiring contract. Last season Calderon played in 42 games for the Knicks and averaged nine points with three assists per game. Calderon could net the team something down the line and for now the Knicks are concentrating on getting Grant and the rest of the roster ready for the season.

The team has some moves they can make and according to ESPN New York, Maurice Ndour could be "back with the Knicks" after being one of the "Summer League standouts." Ian Begley writes that the Knicks still have room on the roster with 11 players on guaranteed deals and they "would have room for" Ndour if they want to bring him in. Begley reports that Ndour's agent, Eric Fleisher, has had interest from other teams, so the Knicks may have some competition if they want to bring in Ndour.

The Summer League has had some bright spots for the Knicks, as Alex Kirk, Ricky Ledo and Thanasis Antetokounmpo could be options to join the roster for camp. Ndour comes in after averaging nearly 10 points and five rebounds in the Summer League and he also led the team with 23 points in a Knicks win over the Sixers. Derek Fisher said that the team needs another point guard that can help "push the pace" and Jackson has talked about a center. Ndour is a forward and he could give the team depth and he is considered a strong defensive player as well.

Begley writes that the Knicks could look at Justin Hamilton and Greg Stiemsma as options, while Kirk has looked good in the summer league. The team is also reportedly close to signing both Kristaps Porzingis and Jerian Grant and that would give the team around six players on guaranteed contracts for the 2016 season.
