The Miami Dolphins are coming into camp with DeVante Parker out with an injury after surgery and that could lead the team to target James Jones or Wes Welker for depth at wide receiver and this comes as CJ Mosley has signed a deal after being with the Detroit Lions and now he joins Ndamukong Suh as defensive line players coming to Miami in free agency.

The Dolphins brought in Mosley after drafting Jordan Phillips and signing Suh and now he will be part of one of the deeper groups of linemen in the league on defense. According to the Miami Herald, Mosley agreed to a one year deal with the Dolphins and this came as he was thinking about a return to the Detroit Lions. The Lions lost Suh to the Dolphins in free agency and now Mosley has joined him in South Beach.

Suh signed a mega contract and Mosley signed just a one year deal, but he adds another solid body to the line and that should be big for the Dolphins defense. Last season the team was inconsistent against the run and adding Suh surely will help that and now the team has Phillips, Mosley as well as AJ Francis. Mosley is reportedly "good friends" with Suh from his time with the Lions and that likely helped with his decision. Mosley now gives the team another solid option to play behind Suh on the line.

The Dolphins are coming into camp dealing with an injury to Parker, who was the first round draft pick for the team this year. Parker came from Louisville and is considered to be one of the best wide receiver prospects from this draft class. Parker has great speed and he was impressing in OTA workouts and rookie camp, but he had to undergo foot surgery and now will be out through training camp. According to the Miami Herald, Parker had foot surgery and the "plan" is for him to be ready in Week 1 of the season and he likely will miss all of camp this summer.

According to Fox Sports, Parker was dealing with some soreness in his foot and after getting looked at, it was determined he needed "a new screw" inserted after he previously had surgery in 2014. The Dolphins are fairly deep at receiver with Jarvis Landry, Greg Jennings and Kenny Stills as well as Rishard Matthews, but there is a chance they could add a free agent like James jones or Wes Welker. The team added Tommy Streeter after losing Parker, but he is not a threat to make the team.

Mosley and Suh come over after helping the Lions to have the top ranked rush defense in the league last season and now the Dolphins are hoping that carries over. Phillips was taken in the second round and he was considered to be a potential first round talent and that gives the Dolphins even more depth at the position. Mosley had 2.5 sacks last season and 26 tackles for the Lions and he played in 15 games alongside Suh and also had one forced fumble.
