Chelsea star Diego Costa may not be happy with the Blues and could leave the English Premier League and manager Jose Mourinho for Atletico Madrid in his native La Liga and this comes after reports that Costa is not happy playing in London and may want to return home to Spain.

Costa had a strong season with Chelsea and the team ended up winning the Premier League title, but Costa may leave the EPL anyway. According to Pro Soccer Talk, report from Spanish publication Marca says that Costa is "unhappy" playing for Chelsea and that he has "approached" his former team about a return to Madrid. Atletico would be a good landing spot for Costa after the season they just had.

Costa had some incidents with Chelsea this year, including his stamping incident and some other problems on the field, but overall he had a strong season. Chelsea is going to be a contender in the Champions League and could repeat as EPL champs, but now Costa may not be a part of it. Costa has won in Madrid after taking the La Liga title with Atletico in 2014 before playing for Chelsea and that move came with a fee of about $35 million.

The latest report says that Costa would take less money to go back to Spain and that could help make the move happen. Chelsea reportedly said that Costa is "not for sale" but that may not hold if Costa is unhappy playing in London. Costa had 20 goals in his appearances in the Premier League and he was one of the reasons why Chelsea was in first place all season.
