Rick Nash #61 of the New York Rangers celebrates with his teammates after scoring a goal against Ben Bishop #30 of the Tampa Bay Lightning during the third period in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Finals during the 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at Amalie Arena on May 22, 2015 in Tampa, Florida."

The New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning are meeting for the NHL playoffs eastern conference finals Game 6 on Tuesday night is on the NBC Sports Network and streaming online live from the NBCSN Live Extra website at Amalie Arena and the matchup for NYR comes as the team is down 3-2 in the series and they need a victory after the pathetic performance by the offense in Game 5.

The Rangers have been in this situation before, as they were down to the Capitals in the last round before coming back to win in seven games. The Rangers were the best road team in the NHL this season and now they need to show why. The team had 10 goals in their previous two games, but they were pathetically shut out in Game 5 on their home ice and now they have to find a way to win against a team that seemingly gets every call and every bounce no matter what.

The Rangers got some puck luck finally in Game 4, but that game for the most part did not feel like a blowout. The Lighting embarrassed the Rangers and now if they can't bounce back and win, they didn't deserve to be in the finals anyway. The team is going to be very disappointed if they lose, as they were the number one team in all of the NHL this past season. This is the best chance in years for the Rangers to win the Cup, so naturally they will screw it up before even getting to the finals.

It looked like Rick Nash was finally heating up after scoring two goals in the previous game before the Sunday matchup, but alas, it was not the case. The Rangers went from a five goal barrage to nothing and they basically allowed Ben Bishop to have an easy game, which is pretty pathetic considering the stakes. The Rangers now have to play at their best and cannot afford to mess up again. Getting Game 7 is no guarantee and with the series tied 2-2, they could not find any offense and now they have their backs against the wall.

The Rangers won one game in Tampa already, but with the way the Lightning are playing, it's unlikely the team will be able to score like that again. Henrik Lundqvist and the team need to play their best game of the season and if that doesn't happen, it will be on the stars for this main failure. The Rangers overall have been pathetic this postseason, they basically have "beaten" a team only once, although they have "won games". The victory against the Lightning in Game 4 is the only win this postseason that felt like the Rangers actually beat the other team and now they will have to find a way to survive again.
