The NBA Draft Lottery is live on Tuesday and coverage is on ESPN and streaming from the WatchESPN website as the league finds out who will get the number 1 pick and teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves, NY Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers are waiting patiently as players like Jahlil Okafor, Karl-Anthony Towns, Emmanuel Mudiay, Justise Winslow, Willie Cauley-Stein, D'Angelo Russell and Emmanuel Mudiay prepare for the draft.

The NBA draft lottery is live on ESPN at 8:30 pm ET and the top teams looking for the pick are the Knicks and Timberwolves. Minnesota finished with the worst record in the league and the Knicks were second and they are hoping to end up with one of the top two picks. The Knicks have a 19 percent chance of winning the top pick, while the Wolves have a 25 percent chance at the top pick. Minnesota should be in the top three at 64 percent, while the Knicks have a 55 percent chance at a top three pick.

The Knicks aimed to finish near the bottom of the NBA this season and now they are getting set up for the lottery with the playoffs still going on. According to Ian Begley at ESPN New York, Russell, Winslow and Cauley Stein will be working out at the NBA combine, while Okafor and Towns likely will not. The Knicks are interested in all of those players, with Winslow and Towns looking like the favorites for Jackson according to Frank Isola.

The Knicks have 17 wins and the Sixers are next with 18 wins. The Lakers have 21 wins and the Magic have 25 wins from the 2014-15 regular season. The Kings, Nuggets, Pistons, Hornets, Miami Heat, Pacers, Jazz, Suns and Thunder are next in the lottery list and this year there are some caveats depending on what teams end up where.

The Lakers have a top five protected pick for 2015 and owe the Sixers a first rounder, while the Heat also could end up conveying a pick to the Sixers. The main players in the draft this year are Jahlil Okafor and Karl-Anthony Towns and those two could be targets for the number one overall pick.

The Knicks missed out on getting the worst record in the NBA after winning over the Atlanta Hawks, but they are still in good position in the lottery. There has not been a lottery winner that has had the worst record in a decade and that means Knick fans should not fret. The team is second worst and they have a 19.9 percent chance of getting the top overall pick.
