The Miami Dolphins have drafted DeVante Parker in the first round of the NFL draft and on Friday in Day 2, names like Tevin Coleman, TJ Yeldon, Ameer Abdullah, Jay Ajayi and Jamison Crowder could be potential targets for the team to add for Ryan Tannehill on offense, while Randy Gregory could be an option after he slipped out of the first round.

The Dolphins were interested in trading up to get a receiver, but they ended up sticking with their pick and got a player they wanted in Parker. The team met early on with Parker this offseason and while they were interested in Amari Cooper and Kevin White, the team did not want to trade picks to move up. Parker comes in as an explosive player with strong hands and while he has had some issues with drops, those things can be fixed by the coaching staff.

The team was excited about Parker and now they could look at targeting a running back, as the team reportedly was interested in Todd Gurley. According to the Miami Herald, the team would have considered Gurley had he made it out of the top 10 and now they could target a running back in the second, third or later rounds. The running back position is deep and if Gregory is off the board when the Dolphins pick next, they could look at making a selection at RB.

The team picks at number 47 overall and that is the 15th pick in the second round of the draft. There should be a run of running backs in this part of the draft and that could lead the team to make a move. Randy Gregory is an option if he keeps slipping, while players like TJ Yeldon and Duke Jonson could be fits for where the Dolphins pick. Ajayi is considered to be the most versatile back in the draft.

The Dolphins had the number 14 pick in the draft and they took DeVante Parker over Melvin Gordon with Todd Gurley already off the board along with Kevin White. White as expected to go in the top 10 and Parker was expected to be there and now can be a nice fit for Tannehill. Parker has great speed and he has already been in for a meeting with the team.

Green-Beckham could be a potential option despite his off the field issues, as he is considered a top 10 talent but slipped out of the first round. The team could look at adding an RB and another wideout despite taking Parker, as they want more weapons for Tannehill depending on what happens in the draft leading up the second round pick. Green-Beckham has risk, but he is a first round talent and now could slip into the hands of another team that likely wouldn't have been able to get him.

The Dolphins had Knowshon Moreno hit the free agent market and that could lead the team to add Johnson or David Cobb, while names like Abdullah and Yeldon also could be in the mix. Tevin Coleman is a name to watch, as he has had a strong college career and could be a pick early in the second round. Last season Coleman had 2,036 yards and 15 touchdowns and averaged over seven yards per carry and he could end up as one of the best players coming out of this draft.
