The 2015 Masters tournament starts on Thursday and the tee times for Round 1 start early at Augusta National and some of the pairings include Adam Scott with Dustin Johnson, Tiger Woods, Jamie Donaldson and Jimmy Walker, while Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy will be together with Ryan Moore as the major gets underway.
The Masters will have some star power returning, as Woods is coming back after being out of action since earlier in February. Woods spent time working on his game and he took a practice round at Augusta before deciding on coming back to play the Masters. Bubba Watson comes in as the defending champion and he comes in as one of the favorites in the tournament.
Watson will be with Group 10 with Justin Rose and Gunn Yang and starts off just before 9:30 am ET for Round 1 on Thursday. One of the most high profile groups include Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson, who will be with Ryan Moore, while Woods will be with Jimmy Walker and Jamie Donaldson in Group 32. The last group to see off has notable names with Sergio Garcia, Rickie Fowler and Jason Day playing together.
Woods said that he feels good coming into the tournament and he has slipped in the rankings out of the top 100 and is looking to get things going again. Woods comes in after putting up a terrible score, his career worst, at the Phoenix Open and he later withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open. Woods is looking to stay healthy the rest of the year and he is hoping he can put up a good performance at Augusta.
Woods has not won a major since back in 2008 at the US Open and he has not won the Masters in a decade, although he has won the tournament four times.
