The Seattle Seahawks are coming into the offseason with Russell Wilson's contract on the agenda and the quarterback could be in line for a record extension and this comes as the team has signed Marshawn Lynch to a new deal and they could look at a number of targets in the draft for depth on offense, including Breshad Perriman, Mike Davis, TJ Yeldon and Melvin Gordon.

Wilson comes in after leading the Seahawks to their second straight Super Bowl and after his success in just three years, he is in line for a record deal. According to Pro Football Talk, the two sides have had initial discussions, but right now a deal is not close. ESPN.com reported earlier that a deal was "imminent" but reports came out after that about the two sides not being at that point yet. Wilson has been the playoffs every year he has been in the league and has won a Super Bowl already.

The NFL Network reported that Wilson could get a contract that is close to fully guaranteed, with Ian Rapoport writing that it could be between 75 percent and 85 percent guaranteed. The Seahawks have been able to get by with Wilson on a low cap number since he has been on his rookie deal. Wilson was a third round pick, so he does not have a fifth year option and that puts him in line to get a massive extension. Terry Blount at ESPN.com writes that Wilson could be among the highest paid players in the league with his extension.

The Seahawks brought back Lynch this offseason after rumors that he may retire or want a trade, but with his age getting up there and his production at a high level, the team needs depth for the future. The Seahawks already have Robert Turbin and Christine Michael, but they could look at adding more in the draft. The running back class this year is a great one and names like Melvin Gordon, TJ Yeldon and Duke Johnson could be potential targets.

Another name that the Seahawks may take a look at is Mike Davis from South Carolina. Davis had a solid college career and he comes in after running a 4.38 in his 40-yard dash at the South Carolina Pro Day. A run like that will get teams checking in on Davis and so far he has workouts or visits scheduled with numerous teams, including the Seahawks. According to ESPN.com, Davis also has workouts with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons and the Cleveland Browns.

The team could look at Davis as an option in the later rounds, as the team doesn't have a first round pick after trading for Jimmy Graham. Todd Gurley likely will be gone by the time the Seahawks pick, but with a deep draft class, the team should have RB options to look at. Tevin Coleman had a record season for Indiana and he averaged over seven yards per carry and could be a potential target for depth behind Lynch along with Davis.
