The FA Cup results saw Arsenal win against Manchester United on Tuesday to advance to the semifinals and the matchup was a big one for the Gunners, as they were able to get the victory at Old Trafford and are now through to the next stage.
Arsenal took the lead early with a Nacho Monreal goal and the team did not hold that long before Wayne Rooney tied it up. Rooney now has eight goals in his last nine FA Cup games, but the team could not get that second goal. Danny Welbeck scored the second goal for Arsenal and it was fitting that it came against Manchester United
The game had some controversy down at the end, with Angel Di Maria getting booked and making some contact with the referee. Arsenal won at Old Trafford for the first time in nearly a decade and it was a big win for Arsene Wenger, as he has only won twice overall against Man United in 16 tries.
