The Philadelphia Eagles appeared to have agreed to a deal with free agent running back Frank Gore, but reports say Gore has "cold feet" about signing with the team and now the Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins could be in play and this comes as DeMarco Murray, CJ Spiller and Reggie Bush are also targets on the market.

According to ESPN.com, sources told Adam Schefter that Gore is having second thoughts about signing with the Eagles and could look at moving to another team. Schefter writes that the Colts have interest in signing Gore, who previously was with the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners reportedly were interested in keeping Gore, but he reportedly agreed to sign a deal with the Eagles.

The Eagles just traded LeSean McCoy to the Bills and it looked like Gore would step in to take over. Gore previously has rushed for over 1000 yards in eight of the last nine years and he reportedly agreed to a three year deal. With Gore having second thoughts, the Colts may try and make a move for him, as they will be looking at running backs after the way Trent Richardson has performed in the past two years.

The NFL free agency period opens on Tuesday and players like DeMarco Murray, CJ Spiller and Shane Vereen are potential targets for the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals and NY Jets and this comes as Indy may look at the trade or release of Richardson into 2015 after he was suspended last year. Gore is one of the top running backs on the market and Tuesday marks the start of free agency.

Murray is the top running back on the market and the Cowboys are hoping to retain him. According to Pro Football Talk, Murray could be entering a soft market and if he doesn't get any offers he likes, he could end up back with the Cowboys. NFL.com reports that CJ Spiller is a "plan B" option for the Cowboys and he also is a target for the Indianapolis Colts with Justin Forsett. The Colts could be a landing spot for Murray, but ESPN.com reports they are focused on Forsett and Spiller as targets along with the draft.

Last season Murray rushed for a career high 1845 yards, but he had over 400 touches and some execs might be worried about him wearing down. Murray has had injury issues in the past and 2014 was the first season that he played in all 16 games. Murray comes in looking for long term deal, but at his age teams may be weary of doing that. Spiller is a main target on the market as well, as he is not coming back to the Bills after the team traded for LeSean McCoy.

Spiller reportedly is a target for the Arizona Cardinals, NY Jets, Miami Dolphins and Colts along with the Cowboys and that could make the competition for him very tough. Murray is hoping to return to the Cowboys, but the team has planned backup options if he goes to another team, as the Browns and Raiders potentially could offer him a big contract.
