Tony Romo #9 of the Dallas Cowboys is sacked by Mathias Kiwanuka #94 and Jason Pierre-Paul #90 of the New York Giants in the second quarter at MetLife Stadium on November 23, 2014 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. "

The NY Giants are coming into the 2015 season looking to bounce back after missing the playoffs and general manager Jerry Reese could look to spend some money in free agency, with players like Frank Gore, Bryan Bulaga, CJ Spiller and Shane Vereen on the market and this comes as Jason Pierre-Paul is hitting the market as a free agent.

The Giants went 6-10 this past season and they have a top 10 pick and that gives Jerry Reese the chance to add a solid prospect to the roster. The team opted to keep Tom Coughlin after missing the playoffs for the third straight season. According to ESPN.com, the Giants are planning to try and keep Jason Pierre-Paul in free agency this offseason and John Mara said the team would consider using the franchise tag if needed.

The Giants have about $20 million in projected cap space, according to ESPN.com and Dan Graziano adds that they can free up some extra money with some other moves. Graziano writes that Eli Manning may get a contract extension to lower his cap hit, while players like Mathias Kiwanuka, Cullen Jenkins, JD Walton and Jon Beason could be released to save money as well. Kiwanuka could save up to $5 million for the Giants, while Beason has $900,000 in guaranteed money on his $7.367 million cap hit.

The Giants like Beason, but he has been injured too much, while Jenkins is getting up there in age and could free up just over $2 million for the team. The Giants have some areas where they could use to add depth, including on the offensive line and that could lead to the team looking at Bulaga. Todd McShay thinks the Giants will go offensive line in the draft, with Brandon Scherff as his mock pick for the team at number nine. The NFL draft also is an opportunity for the team to add a solid player, as the team has a top 10 pick after going 6-10 last season.

JPP comes in after putting up 12.5 sacks last season and he is the most significant player hitting the market for the Giants Pierre-Paul helped the team reach the Super Bowl a few years ago and he is just 26 years old and could be in line to score big money. Pierre-Paul has expressed interest in staying and the Giants could use the franchise tag on him. Antrel Rolle could return if he takes a pay cut, while Walter Thurmond may come back after signing a one year deal last offseason.

Spiller could be a potential option for the Giants, as the team is looking to add more at running back after dealing with injuries to Rashad Jennings last season. Andre Williams stepped up and Reese could look at Spiller or Mark Ingram as options on the market. Spiller rushed for just 300 yards last season while playing in nine games after injuring his collarbone and he could be a low risk high reward option. Spiller has the potential to be the David Wilson type the Giants lost when he had to retire.
