The NY Knicks are in the middle of a losing season and with the trade deadline getting close, names like Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani, Pablo Prigioni and Amar'e Stoudemire could be moved and this comes as Phil Jackson is setting up the team for free agency this summers, as names like Goran Dragic, Tobias Harris, Reggie Jackson and Marc Gasol will be targets.

The Knicks have just eight wins this season and they currently are the worst team in the NBA, but this recent winning streak could pull them out of that spot. The Knicks won over the Orlando Magic and now play against the Hornets and the Kings coming up on the schedule. The Knicks expect to make some major moves in the summer after clearing cap space with trades and the team has made some already, including moving JR Smith, Iman Shumpert and Tyson Chandler.

According to ESPN.com, Jackson may look at moving Prigioni at the trade deadline, as he has not been getting much playing time for the Knicks this season. Calderon could also be an option to move along with Bargnani, while ESPN.com reported that the team could look at a buyout with Stoudemire. The New York Post reports that the team could look at restricted free agents this summer, including Tobias Harris, who is having a solid season with the Magic, averaging 18 points and 6.9 rebounds.

The Knicks are currently fifth in the Atlantic division and they are worse than the Sixers, but New York won over Philly in their last matchup and now they are just a couple games out of the bottom spot. The Sixers have been rebuilding for a few years and they don't have much hope in sight, while the Knicks are getting broken down in the hopes of bouncing back in a year or two. Jackson has found some young talent in Langston Galloway and the team has some draft picks to work with to bring in more solid players.

The roster will look very different next season and Jackson is hoping to lure one or two free agents to join Carmelo Anthony. The team is hoping to target Gasol and Rajon Rondo on the market, but both players are expected to remain with their current teams and that could force Jackson to look elsewhere. Goran Dragic is expected to use his option to hit the market and he reportedly will be a target for the Knicks, Lakers and Rockets.
