The Cleveland Browns not only have drama at their quarterback position, but they are also dealing with issues regarding the run game as well. The team is limited at the position after releasing Ben Tate to free agency and not replacing him with anyone. The Browns opted to put their faith in the talent in health of Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West which has been working out well. However, an injury to Crowell has brought up depth issues.

There is a good chance that Crowell will not be active against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 14. According to Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, the running back has been out of practice for most of the week with a hip injury and might not be able to play against the Colts. Crowell is coming off a game where he rushed for just 29 yards on 17 carries in the loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Browns have already taken steps to help with depth by signing veteran Shaun Draughn to a one-year deal in case Crowell cannot play.

The injury to Crowell means that West will likely get the nod at the running back position. Head coach Mike Pettine has been critical of the rookie in recent weeks. According to the News-Herald, West has been "careless" with the football. He nearly lost a fumble against the Atlanta Falcons and put it on the ground twice against the Bills. That caused the rookie to get benched, but now he is their best option if Crowell is out.

Jordan Cameron could also likely be ruled out for the upcoming week. The tight end was looking better after sitting out the past four weeks with a concussion. However, Cameron was downgraded to out late in the week for the game against Buffalo and some suggest that ruling could stand against the Colts. Cameron has just 13 catches in his contract season which could play a big part in the next deal he signs. At the start of the season, the tight end was expected to command big money, but that might not be the case going forward.

The pressure will be on Josh Gordon and Travis Benjamin to help out Brian Hoyer. Miles Austin is out with a kidney issue. Cleveland needs whatever healthy bodies they have playing their best as they aim to stay in the hunt for the playoffs.
