The New Orleans Saints have been getting some strong play from Mark Ingram lately and he is the top fantasy football start option and RB free agent for Week 11, as Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson have been dealing with injuries and that makes Ingram the number one option for NO over Travaris Cadet for quarterback Drew Brees in the rushing game.

Ingram has been injured a bit this season, but since returning he has been fantastic for fantasy owners and anyone that handcuffed him with Pierre Thomas is happy. Ingram has put together his third straight 100 yard game this weekend and that makes him a strong starting option going forward. For owners in deeper leagues or PPR leagues, Cadet is solid until the other backs return, but the Saints have been all about using Ingram and they should continue doing that even when the two backs return to the lineup. Ingram has been dealing with a shoulder injury, but he has been able to play through it and the results have been excellent so far.

The Saints need to bounce back after their very tough loss against the 49ers and Ingram should be a big part of that, especially next week against the Bengals. Cincy has been getting gashed in the running game and Ingram could have another big game coming up. The Saints did not pick up the fifth year option on Ingram and he is proving himself this season knowing that and he now has been on a hot streak. Last week Ingram had 120 yards on 27 carries and he also added three catches in the game. Ingram is the best option for the Saints this week and Cadet could be a solid sleeper, but only in deeper leagues.

Pierre Thomas has been injured over the past few games and he was out last week, while Khiry Robinson also missed Week 10 against the 49ers. Thomas and Robinson had been playing well for the Saints, but now that those two are out, expect a big workload for Ingram. The former Crimson Tide back now has at least 20 carries in the last three weeks and he has also added at least one reception in every game he has played this season.

Drew Brees needs Ingram to step up and continue playing well, as the rushing attack is valuable for the Saints so that defenses can't blanket cover all the receivers. Cadet comes in with 10 catches over his last three games and he could be a sleeper for the Saints this week.

This season Thomas has played in six games and has rushed for 133 yards, but he has been great catching the ball, adding 26 catches for 204 yards and a TD. Ingram has been a life saver for the Saints and he has touched the ball over 50 times in the past two weeks. Robinson has been used more as a rusher and he is leading Thomas with 330 yards, but he has not been much of a factor out of the backfield. Cadet is more of a pass back and he has emerged as a deep league option with Thomas and Robinson out.
