The Champions League results from Tuesday saw some wild matches, including Arsenal getting stunned by Anderlecht after being up three goals for a draw, while Real Madrid made it through to the Last 16 Round and advanced with a win over Liverpool, while Basel, Juventus and Benfica also were winners on the day.
Arsenal was up 3-0 in their match with the Belgian side, but they could not hold on and ended up with a 3-3 draw in the matchup. Basel and Borussia Dortmund both won and Dortmund is also into the round of 16 after winning and now is into the knockouts. Real Madrid ended up winning over Liverpool, while Atletico Madrid won against Malmo for the win away. Juventus won over Olympiakos, while Benfica won over Monaco.
Karim Benzema had the lone goal for Real against Liverpool and now they are into the round of 16. Brendan Rodgers rested his starters and now the team is three points back of Basel and they have a tough road to the next round.
