The Boston Bruins and Minnesota Wild are playing live on the NHL schedule on Tuesday and the matchup is from the TD Garden and is on the NBC Sports Network and streaming online from the NBCSN Live Extra website at 7 pm ET as Zdeno Chara and company host Minnesota after they had a crazy game against the NYR at MSG.

The Bruins come into this season as one of the best teams in the eastern conference and they are one of the favorites to win it all. Last season they were upset by Montreal in the playoffs and now they are third in the Atlantic division to open things up. The team has gone 5-5 this season with 10 points, while the Wild come in with eight points.

The Wild have a great defense and they had not allowed more than two goals in any game to start this season before playing the Rangers. The Bruins come in after a nice win against the Maple Leafs on the road and that came ahead of the Wild matchup. The team has the Sabres next and they come in ranked in the top half of the league in goals against to start the year. Dave Krejci has been killing it for the Bruins, as he is leading the team in scoring, assists, goals and everything else to start the season.

The Bruins come in having won three of the last four games and they will be looking to extend that as they try and get off to a great start this season. The Bruins are a tough team and they have the chance to be the division winners here once again and they are as tough of a team in the league right now.

The Wild come into the game after dare we say it a wild loss to the Rangers that saw NY come back from 3-0 down and that was a historic win for the team. The Rangers scored numerous goals late and now the wild come in after starting the season fourth in goals scored per game and second in goals against with under two per contest. The team is also second in penalty kill percentage and after playing the Bruins they will host the San Jose Sharks.
