The Seattle Seahawks traded WR Percy Harvin and now fantasy football owners should look at names like Jermaine Kearse, Paul Richardson, Ricardo Lockette, Kevin Norwood and Doug Baldwin was replacement options for Russell Wilson, as he will have to spread the ball around even more now that Harvin has been traded to the Jets.

The Seahawks traded away Percy Harvin for a conditional pick and now fantasy owners looking for some WR support could look at the Seahawks. The team is fairly deep at the position and that is one reason why they traded away Harvin and did not worry about what they gave up for him. Baldwin is easily the best option for fantasy owners, as he now will elevate into the number one position. Baldwin had a great game to start off the post Harvin era and now he could be the top receiver for Russell Wilson.

While the Seahawks are not a top heavy team at WR, the roster has very good depth and players like Kearse, Lockette and Richardson have shown they can handle things without Harvin there. Reports have Harvin being more trouble than he is worth, as he got into a fight with Doug Baldwin and also previously fought with Golden Tate before the Super Bowl. Harvin is an electric talent, but the team opted to cut things loose rather than let him ruin the chemistry of the team.

The Seahawks are now 3-3 on the season and they are by no means out of it, but they have a tough game coming up with the Panthers and need the WRs to step up. Lockette opened the season with a nice game, but the second best option for the Seahawks and for fantasy owners should be Kearse, as Wilson has shown a comfort level with him this season and last year. The team has two strong rookies in Norwood and Richardson and they could be options in deeper leagues once they get more involved in the offense.

Having Norwood and Richardson made the Harvin deal easier for Pete Carroll and while the team misses out on some draft picks that they gave up, they feel better moving forward now. Baldwin comes in after making seven catches last week for 123 yards and a TD and he now has 23 catches for 310 yards on the season. Baldwin will continue getting the most targets, while Kearse could step up after making 14 catches for 218 yards this season.

Kearse has big play ability and he is averaging over 15 yards per catch and over the past two weeks he has had three catches in each game for a combined 112 yards. Lockette has not done much since starting the season with two TD catches in three games and now he will try and get things going after mazing just one catch over the last three games. Richardson is another great option, as he played in over half the snaps for the Seahawks on Sunday.

This season Richardson has just five catches for 40 yards, but his work on Sunday shows that the team wants him on the field and he had four catches for 33 yards. Norwood did not get much work until Harvin was traded and he is an option in deeper leagues after making his first catch of the season against the Rams Sunday.
