Rudy Gay #8 of Sacramento Kings drives against Joe Johnson of Brooklyn Nets during the 2014 NBA Global Games match between the Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings at MasterCard Center on October 15, 2014 in Beijing, China."

The Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers are playing on the NBA preseason schedule on Monday and the matchup is live from the Barclays Center at 7:30 pm ET as the Atlantic division teams meet up and this has Deron Williams and Joe Johnson looking to bounce back after a loss to Boston and comes as Robin Lopez is dealing with another foot injury.

The Nets come into the game after a loss to the Celtics and after playing this game against the Sixers they will have another matchup with Boston in Mass. The Nets and Celtics played an experimental game with a shortened clock at 44 minutes and the players said they barely noticed and now they two teams play again after the Nets matchup with the Sixers. Jarrett Jack had 17 points and he will be a key for the team this season after Paul Pierce left to sign with the Wizards.

The Nets won a playoff series against the Raptors last season in seven games, but the year did not go as planned and now they are hoping for a deeper run. The east is even tougher than last season and so is the division, as the Knicks will be much better and Toronto basically returns their while team. Among those three teams and the Sixers and Celtics, the Nets are right in the middle of the pack. The team will be without Lopez for a bit and they need Kevin Garnett to play like he's five years younger and he can't really do that anymore.

The Sixers come into the game after a win against the Orlando Magic and now they have the Nets before a game against the Detroit Pistons. The team comes in at 2-4 on the preseason after a bad start and the Nets are 3-1 on the preseason this year. The Celtics took down the Nets in their last game and the Sixers are coming into the season as one of the worst teams in the NBA once again.

The Nets have the Celtics and the Sixers left on the preseason schedule and then they will be in for the regular season. The team opens against Boston and that is yet another game between the two teams and that will be on the road. The team is away for two games and then they return home with a matchup in Brooklyn against Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder, although Durant is injured now. The team has four home games and that includes the Thunder as well as the Wolves, Knicks and Magic. That is before they head out west for a road trip against the Suns, Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers before returning to play the Miami Heat.
