The fantasy football Week 7 schedule is here and some waiver wire free agents and sleeper picks include Cecil Shorts, Carson Palmer, Davante Adams, Darren McFadden, Matt Asiata, Jeremy Hill, Odell Beckham, Austin Davis, Andre Holmes, Mohamed Sanu, Tre Mason, Golden Tate and Malcom Floyd all could be solid options moving forward this season and for the matchups this weekend as things get closer to the halfway mark.

Cecil Shorts is back for the Jaguars and he could be a strong option to start against the Browns, while Davante Adams has emerged as a deep option for the Packers. Adams and Shorts are solid WR2 or WR3 options for fantasy owners and they should perform well this week and could be replacements for Victor Cruz for some owners who are scrambling. Matt Asiata and Jerick McKinnon have played well for the Vikings since Adrian Peterson was put on the exempt list and they should have the chance to continue that this weekend against the Buffalo Bills.

Jerick McKinnon is looking to get more touches in the offense with the way he has played and eh had his first 100 yard game a few weeks ago and also had over 80 total yards last week. The Packers have a roster of solid WRs, but for owners in deeper leagues, Adams is a solid pickup after he had 77 yards and eight targets on the day against the Dolphins. Adams also had a huge play towards the end of the game to set up the winning TD and that means Aaron Rodgers trusts him, which is huge.

Cecil Shorts is finally off of the injury report and he has been the most targeted player of the Jaguars receivers and now he has the chance to have a solid game this Sunday. Shorts had 10 catches and 16 targets in the game for 103 yards and he looks to do even more. Odell Beckham also will be a solid pickup, as he will get more chances now that Victor Cruz is done for the season.

Carson Palmer is back from injury and after many owners dropped him the past few weeks, he could be a good spot starter or an option for teams with QBs in bye weeks. Darren McFadden had a vintage game for the Raiders this week and he could be another spot starter for teams in need of running backs. With Ridley out for the season along with Knowshon Moreno, McFadden could be a great free agent pickup for owners looking at replacements, as he has been a much more consistent option than Maurice Jones-Drew for the Raiders.

Mohamed Sanu is a very solid option at WR with AJ Green injured and even if Green gets back into the lineup, Sanu has proven to be a consistent WR2 option for owners this season. Palmer has returned from an injury and with the Cardinals throwing the ball as much as they do, he should be a good option for teams in need of a QB, as he is available in most fantasy leagues in Yahoo and ESPN. The Lions have Theo Riddick playing well with Joique Bell and Reggie Bush a bit banged up, but they appear to be ready to get back into the lineup full time.
