The top fantasy football sleepers and surprise picks for Week 6 include some rookies, as Branden Oliver, Storm Johnson, Andre Williams, Stevan Ridley, Mohamed Sanu, Ronnie Hillman, Benny Cunningham, Austin Davis, Justin Hunter, Kendall Wright and Travis Benjamin all could be solid options for this weekend and they could help owners win out their matchups.

The weekend has some big matchups for teams and Oliver could be the best sleeper pick among RBs, as he has a game against the Raiders and will be starting for the Chargers. San Diego has a number of injuries at the position and with Donald Brown and Ryan Mathews ailing, Oliver is a great option for teams in need of a spot starter. Ridley and Williams are also strong picks for this week, as they both will be starting and are coming off of good performances from last week.

Mohamed Sanu and Ronnie Hillman are coming in for players with injuries with AJ Green and Montee Ball out and they could be sleepers for owners with the big names down. Green is dealing with a toe injury and Ball is out with a groin injury and that will pave the way for those players to start. Sanu has been playing well even with Green in the lineup, so that is promising for owners, while Hillman looked good coming in for Ball last week and now he will get the full slate of carries along with CJ Anderson.

Benny Cunningham and Andre Williams each have the chance to step up with starters injured, as Zac Stacy and Rashad Jennings are each banged up. Cunningham looked good in relief last week and Williams did the same after Jennings went down and now he could be poised to put up some solid numbers this week. Williams is matching up with the Eagles and they have been gashed a couple times this season and he could be in line for that after rushing for 2000 yards in college last season.

Justin Hunter and Kendall Wright had solid games last week and Wright made it into the endzone again and they could be sleeper picks for the Titans. Storm Johnson is looking like he will get the chance to start with Toby Gerhart out and he is a solid sleeper pickup for owners who need some help at RB. Gus Bradley said that he liked what Johnson did last week despite only getting four carries and he could be a nice pickup for fantasy owners in a tight spot.

Stevan Ridley has been playing himself into a starting role and he had a strong game against the Bengals and now he is heading into a matchup with the Buffalo Bills. Ridley and Shane Vereen split time, but Ridley is more of a rusher and he put up a 100 yard game against the Bengals and he could do it again this week after putting up 27 rushes for 113 yards. Matt Asiata is getting the start for the Vikings and he could be in line for a solid game against the Lions over Jerick McKinnon. The fantasy football week got started off fast with the Texans and Colts and now Week 6 gets going on Sunday.
