The fantasy football week 5 schedule is here and some deep league pickups include Odell Beckham, Louis Murphy, Brandon LaFell, DeAndre Hopkins, Chris Ivory and Andre Williams, as those players have the chance to be sleeper options moving forward this season, especially Beckham, who is about to make his debut for the Giants at WR as a rookie.

Players in deep leagues can often be more important than the stars on fantasy teams and if Beckham can come in and play well, the Giants and fantasy owners will be thrilled. The Giants offense has looked much better in recent weeks and adding a speedy player like Beckham could be huge. Beckham comes in with blazing speed and explosive ability and Eli Manning could benefit from having him on the field. Andre Williams is another player to look at, as the Giants are starting to give him more opportunities as the season goes on.

DeAndre Hopkins has emerged as a number one option for the Texans and some have called him the real WR1 now with Andre Johnson getting older. Hopkins has explosive speed and he has shown this season that he can be a strong option in the redzone, which is huge for fantasy owners. Hopkins had a touchdown in the game over the weekend for the Texans against the Bills and he also made five catches for 64 yards and was targeted five times. Hopkins could be a huge upside player going the rest of the way this season.

The Buccaneers are dealing with injuries to Josh McCown and Mike Evans this week and Louis Murphy could be a solid pickup in deeper leagues. The team has turned to Mike Glennon and that makes Murphy a spot start option after he made six catches for 99 yards to lead the team. Glennon said that he has trust in Murphy and that showed as he was able to set up the winning touchdown in that matchup. Murphy should be a starter alongside Vincent Jackson for the time being and that could be big for fantasy owners.

Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson have been splitting time for the Jets and Ivory has been getting the higher amount of playing time so far. Ivory had 100 yards total in the game against the Lions and he was strong with 17 carries for 84 yards, which averaged out to nearly five yards per carry. Ivory also added two catches on six targets and that could be big going forward for owners in PPR leagues. Ivory is a solid option with 50 carries for 274 yards and he comes into the next game against the Chargers looking to play well.

Brandon LaFell could be a solid option from the Patriots, as they are dealing with some issues on offense and he could be the one to step up. LaFell had the only solid game for the Pats against the Chiefs, making six catches for 119 yards and a touchdown. LaFell could end up being the new favorite target for Tom Brady, as the Patriots need to find a way to score more and it could be through LaFell for Tom Brady.
