The Michigan Wolverines may fire Brady Hoke soon and reports have already pointed to Jim Harbaugh or his brother John Harbaugh as potential replacements and this comes after the school has fallen on hard times, losing three of the last four games, two of which were at home and that has helped empty the usually packed Big House in Ann Arbor for the past few weeks.

Hoke has been getting it from all angles, including local papers and the national media and this comes as the team is now 2-3 on the season after losing to Minnesota and that was a particularly embarrassing loss. Hoke is also now dealing with the fallout from what happened with sophomore quarterback Shane Morris, as he was visibly injured on Saturday and was allowed to get back in the game against Minnesota. Hoke denied seeing Morris wobbly after he was hit and he said that the training staff would not have allowed him to play had he been too injured.

Either way, this season and the past couple years have not been that great for Hoke in Michigan and that is what has sparked the firing and the Harbaugh rumors. There's a few Harbaugh rumors out there and a couple stories right now, with Yahoo Sports writing that Michigan should look at Harbaugh despite the fact that it will be tough, while Pro Football Talk has a couple reports out about the situation as well.

College coaches often do not go back to college after making it in the NFL, but many have pointed to Jim Harbaugh about Michigan because he was quarterback there when he played in college. PFT reported on a story about Deion Sanders saying that the 49ers players are not into Harbaugh anymore and they want him out, saying that players have told him such. Sanders said there have been some rumblings and naturally Harbaugh later came out and said that was a "bunch of crap". Either way, if Hoke is fired, Michigan will be calling him.

PFT also reports that John, not Jim, Harbaugh is a target for the school, but with his contract and what he has done in Baltimore, it is very unlikely that he will be going anywhere. Michigan was one of the top teams in the nation for decades and they have fallen on some hard times and now Hoke could be out before the week is over.
