The Wisconsin Badgers and Bowling Green Falcons are playing live on the ESPN college football schedule on Saturday and the game starts up at 12 pm noon ET on ESPN2 and the WatchESPN website online from Camp Randall Stadium and the Big Ten team is taking on the MAC team at home and they are looking to go 2-1 this season.
The team comes in after a strong win over Western Illinois and that came after a tough game against LSU that the Badgers lost by four. The team is still ranked in the top 25 and they are heading towards the conference schedule and they would like to stay clean leading into those games. The team plays against Bowling Green and then they will matchup with South Florida in their next game. The Badgers open up the Big Ten conference schedule with Northwestern and that will be on the road before a couple home games coming up after that.
Tanner McEvoy has been the leader for the team and he has 333 passing yards and three touchdowns this season and he also has been strong rushing the ball. Melvin Gordon is tops with nearly 200 yards and he looks to be the next great Badger back and the team likely will look to him on Saturday to lead the way. McEvoy ended up rushing for more yards than Gordon in the game and this week he could be motivated for a huge game coming up against Bowling Green.
Gordon is one of the best backs in the nation and his career yards per carry average is over seven yards and he leads the nation among active players in that category. Expect the Badgers to use him often on Saturday after the game last week.
