The fantasy football Week 3 schedule is nearly here and some sleeper pick ups and free agents heading into matchups include Ahmad Bradshaw, James Jones, Kirk Cousins, Travis Kelce, Stevan Ridley, Brian Quick, Chris Ivory and Lamar Miller, as those players stepped up last week for various reasons and with some players dealing with injuries, these names could be sleepers going forward.

The Colts may have a new starting RB with Ahmad Bradshaw looking much better than Trent Richardson on Monday night football and that makes him a smart pickup. The Colts offensive line has some issues, but with Andrew Luck and the talent they have, Bradshaw could get some opportunities in the offense. James Jones had a big game for the Raiders and right now with Rod Streater out, there is no better option than him with Oakland even with Derek Carr as the starter.

Travis Kelce had a nice performance on Sunday and from the tight end position he is a great addition along with Larry Donnell. The Chiefs like Anthony Fasano, but they do not have great WR play and the size of Kelce makes him a matchup nightmare for teams. Donnell has been the only consistent Giants player so far on offense and that makes him a solid pickup going forward with the team. Brian Quick is another receiver to keep an eye on, as the Rams do not have much on offense and he looks like he could be a very solid option.

Stevan Ridley looks to be out of the dog house and he had a great game for the Patriots on Sunday and now he should be a strong pickup for teams in need of an RB. Ridley went for over 100 yards and he scored a touchdown in Week 2 and he had just 21 yards the week before. The Patriots would love it if Ridley could get going, as that could help Tom Brady with the passing game and they want him to be in 2012 form when he rushed for 1262 yards and 12 touchdowns.

The Redskins will be without Robert Griffin for at least a month or longer and now Kirk Cousins takes over again for the team. Cousins was very solid on Sunday and he hit for a touchdown just a couple plays after coming in and now he is a smart pick up for teams in need of a spot QB starter. Cousins had a strong game and tossed a couple touchdowns and he had 250 yards passing and looked very comfortable in the offense.

Bradshaw now could be a starting option after going for 70 yards on 13 carries on Monday night and he also had five catches for 26 yards. Last season Bradshaw was injured and now he looks healthy and he already has 10 catches out of the backfield this season and that makes him valuable in PPR leagues. Bradshaw was a grinder with the Giants and he should be able to get some rushing TDs and he also had two receiving TDs in the game against the Eagles.
