The MLB schedule for the 2015 season was released this week and the start of the year comes in April and potentially could end in November if the World Series goes seven games, while the opening week of games has divisional matchups with interleague games, including the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Angels at the Seattle Mariners, NY Mets and Washington Nationals as well as the Atlanta Braves playing the Miami Marlins.

The World Series is scheduled to start on October 28 after the regular season ends on October 4 and that could push the championship into November if it goes seven games. The opening day of the schedule has April 6 as the main day for teams and the other 14 matchups will be on April 5 the night before on ESPN for a nationally televised game.

This year the interleague rotation has L East vs. NL East, AL Central vs. NL Central and AL West vs. NL West, according to MLB.com.
